Target Netball Academy was founded and is led by Charlotte Dunkley, an international Scottish Thistles netball player, with 2 years SuperLeague experience. Having 20 caps for Scotland U21 and winning Youth World Cup European Qualifiers, Charlotte has a wealth of experience to pass down to the next generation. As well as a player, Charlotte is also a Level 2 coach with 5 years coaching experience and success in getting players into county, national academies (London Pulse & Loughborough Lightning) and regional squads. Charlotte created Target Netball Academy to provide aspiring netballers with access to high-quality coaching in a positive and supportive environment.

At Target Netball Academy, we are passionate about helping young players reach their full potential both on and off the court. Through high-quality coaching, a supportive environment, and a focus on individual development, we aim to build confident, skilled, and resilient athletes.

Our programmes are designed for players of all abilities, whether they are taking their first steps in netball or looking to elevate their performance. From weekly training sessions and personalised coaching to holiday camps, every experience is centred around developing technical skills, game understanding, confidence, and a lifelong love for the sport.

We believe netball is about more than just performance. It is about building character, creating friendships, and inspiring young people to achieve their goals. Our mission is simple: to provide every player with the opportunity to learn, improve, and thrive in a positive and professional coaching environment.

    Charlotte Dunkley is a Scottish international netball player and experienced coach, competing at both national and international level. A versatile Goal Shooter (GS) and Goal Attack (GA), Charlotte has represented Scotland and played within the Netball Super League pathway, bringing a wealth of high-performance experience to the court.

    As founder of Target Netball Academy, Charlotte is passionate about helping young athletes develop their skills, confidence, and love for the game. Her coaching focuses on creating a positive, supportive environment where players can challenge themselves, improve their performance, and grow both on and off the court.

    Jacob is an experienced coach and current England Men's netball player, bringing high-performance expertise across both the mid-court and shooting circle. Competing at national level has given Jacob a strong understanding of movement, timing, game awareness, and attacking play, which he shares through his coaching.

    His sessions focus on helping players develop their court craft, improve their movement off the ball, and build confidence in both creating opportunities and converting them into goals. Whether working with mid-court athletes or shooters, Jacob combines technical knowledge with a positive coaching style to help players elevate their performance.

    Known for his enthusiasm and attention to detail, Jacob creates engaging sessions that challenge players, build confidence, and inspire a love for the game.

    Rosie is a Level 2 qualified netball coach with four years of National Performance League (NPL) experience, representing both Seven Stars and Surrey Storm pathways. As a specialist defender, she brings a wealth of knowledge in defensive technique, court positioning, decision-making, and game awareness.

    Passionate about player development, Rosie enjoys helping athletes build confidence, improve their defensive skills, and develop a deeper understanding of the game. Her positive and supportive coaching style creates an environment where players can challenge themselves, learn new skills, and reach their full potential.
